Ingredients

  • 1 shot Espresso (or ½ cup strong brewed coffee, chilled)
  • 1/2 cup Cold milk (choose your preferred dairy or oat/almond/coconut for variation)
  • 1 tsp Honey (or maple syrup for vegan option)
  • 5-7 Ice cubes
  • 1/4 tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1-2 drops Rose water (use very carefully, as it’s strong!)
  • Optional garnish: dried rose petals or a sprinkle of cinnamon (To make it look fancy)

Equipment

  • 1 Espresso machine or strong coffee maker (French press, moka pot, or drip brewer)
  • 1 Measuring spoons (for honey, vanilla, rose water)
  • 1 Spoon or small whisk (to mix syrup base)
  • Glass or Mason jar for serving (12–16 oz works best)

Method

  1. Make the base syrup: In a small glass, combine honey, vanilla extract, and rose water until well blended.
  2. Add the espresso: Pour in your shot of espresso while it's still warm so it melts the honey mixture. Stir well.
  3. Cool it down: Add ice cubes until the glass is about ¾ full.
  4. Add milk: Slowly pour the cold milk over the ice for a layered look.
  5. Garnish & serve: Top with a pinch of cinnamon or a few edible rose petals for a fragrant finish. Sip away and enjoy!
